6.3 Possibilities of working of an account by a foreigner

In general, there is not problem for a foreign legal or physical entity – an enterpriser to create a bank account in the Slovak Republic. However, each bank has amended the requirements or documents needed for the establishment of the account according to its own business conditions. The requirements or necessary documents are not usually fundamentally different from those which the bank requires from the inland enterprisers.

However, important factors when choosing a bank are also fees and additional services which the bank offers with the account. Therefore it is the best to obtain this kind of gain information before the account establishment, as well as information about the requirements of the account establishment in other banks.
