2.9 Personal data protection
The personal data protection act no. 428/2002 of the Code provides a high standard of
protection when manipulating with personal data of physical entities. It applies explicitly to
the personal data of the physical entities. Its force does not apply to the protection of secret,
confidential or otherwise sensitive information related to the enterprisers (legal or physical
entities). Hence, the enterprisers have to rely on a consistent following of the trade secret,
the bank secret, and the secrecy of the post and telecommunication or the tax secret and on
the respecting of fair business relations when dealing with sensitive data.
